The idea is that we are all Tiers, supporting each other to achieve greatness as a unit, none lesser than the other.
You become Tier after 8 generations.
Your family name may be retained however, commonly the last name derives from the father of the 2nd generation.
Anyone could register with the state of Tiers as a resident. They were permitted to work for the lesser entry-level rate of labour in their State, or the entry-level rate present in Tiers, whichever sum is less than the other.
