Sister to Selah. Alma is a Djinn that conquered Amolusía simply by her influence over men, more specifically, Hannibal Sariñena. She had Carena with him. She stabs Carena as a baby as an attempt to kill her. The athame dagger used was enchanted by a hex. It's render is made to numb the oesao abilities. She did not count on Carena living.
The hex grows more powerful over time. Instead of fully numbing her abilities, her esoa was at war with the hex Carena’s entire life. This made her esoa grow more powerful and will eventually break the hex, with her abilities being tenfold what they should be.
